Whittals Chalets

I have used Whittals before and for the price, always satisfied. until now. I booked 2 chalets for two nights adding up to R1400. I paid my deposit and telephonically confirmed my booking. When I arrived, the boy they sent to book me in, told me the booking was for 1 chalet with two bedrooms. I showed him the e-mail, which he insisted was not translated right. I stuck to my guns until he gave me the keys to two chalets. The shower was not working, it was drizzling warm water but gushing cold water. The beds are two kilograms away from falling down on the floor. The stay could have been okay had it not been for the 30 minute tussle to get booked in. I'm highly annoyed and hope Elize takes this review to heart and makes a change.

This place was awesome. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and big and everything was fantastic especially for the price. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Aliwal North.
