Amazing stay.
Siprised by every part of our stay. It was freezing cold at night but everything was taken care of. Heated blankets and heaters provided heat for the night. As it is not right in town it is away from the packed town. It is nice and quiet. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Wow , what a great experience.
All the amenities of modern living, in a old world charm, cosy and homely, and relaxed.
Not to miss the beautiful starry skyline while sitting under the trees , around a nice fire.
You can just sit down and breathe and forget about the city and the stresses.
Where do you still find a surprise baked milk tart on your return from the town square, spoilt us rotten ;-)
This is a total gem and can not wait for the next visit.

Quaint cottage
We loved out stay, Thank you. Hope to be back soon. Room lay outs do however need some altering to accommodate groups where everyone does not know everyone, but a very cosy house.

We recently enjoyed three wonderful and peaceful nights in the magical village of Clarens. Carol is a very warm and welcoming hostess and has thought of the little things like bubble bath in the bathroom. Timmerskraal has a beautiful garden and our children enjoyed the apples from the many apple trees laden with fruit.

Carol was the perfect hostess. She even baked us a appletart with fresh apples from her own trees. The price is very fair, and all you need to bring is your own Food, everything else is there even shampoo. We had a great stay.

Timmerskraal exceeded our expectaions by far! It is set in a stunning garden, and is well serviced. Carol, the host was most helpful with excellent suggestions to make our stay more memorable! The cottage is very conveniently located, within walking distance of the town square, so ideal. I would recommend Timmerskraal again, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there next time!
