Very Impressive!
Beautiful position overlooking the old wharf. Extremely clean and nicely furnished. We did not expect this quality and luxury at a small coastal town like Doring Baai. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

A get away for ourselves and our two dogs
Michele and Peter were the perfect hosts and accommodated us in a perfect little apartment that was fully walled and gated. The garden was grassed and the unit well equipped. There is not too much to do in the area apart from beach and cliff walks but that was perfect for what we intended - just a quiet break with the pooches. The town is very safe and the views and sunsets amazing. Thanks Michele and Peter the stay was well worth if.

Flowers and wine
This was our second visit to this establishment and was excellent as usual apartments are clean and beds comfy, Michelle always a good host. Must make mention of the restaurant (Kommetjie) 6km's upthe road in next village Standfintein had dinner there very pleasant awesome spot for sundowners as it faces west. ! Also the Fryers Cove Winery is worth mentioning

Thorn Bay was clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The bed was good - linen fresh and the bathroom was modern and as advertised. We had Yellowtail Room, right on the end which was the last one available, as there is a bit of foot traffic across the verandah for guests staying up above.
Although right on the road, this is not a problem as there is no traffic. Fabulous view of the sunset!!! Exceptional value for money.

We stayed in the Shark unit. Positives: beautiful view and helpful host. The rest of our experience was negative, as the unit seemed unclean. The bedding hasn't been washed prior to our stay, and smelled. We only slept for one night, and was glad to be able to leave the following morning!

Wonderful!
We stayed in the Baracuda unit and it was absolutely amazingly decorated, neat and tidy with everything you would need and a beautiful sea view! I can recommend this establishment to anyone and we will definately be back. Peter and Michele was extremely friendly and wonderful hosts.
