Excellent Venue to Relax
We stayed at Tholo lodge for only two nights but were the only guests in the lodge which was awesome. The place is beautifully done and has everything you need to sit back and relax.
Just beware that the road is exceptionally bad getting there and a decent SUV would be best (except we passed a guy in a BMW 320 taking it very slowly).

Wonderful place
The lodge and its surroundings are wonderful. Sharon and Pieter were most helpful and friendly. The view of the river is magnificent. You can see giraffe drinking, waterbuck, impala and kudu playing in the water. Sharon and Pieter took us to a magnificent viewpoint. Out of this world!
One critical point: The sand road to the lodge is difficult to negotiate for non 4x4 cars.
