We found a little bit of heaven in this gem of a place called the ivy in a place we adore Franschoek. They accommodated us for one night which is a rarity as most places don't accept less than two nights. We have been to self catering gold crown resorts and these can't compare with the ivy. Cleanliness is definitely a priority and we were greeted by friendly staff. The amenities were wonderful with pod coffee (I kid you not). And the bonus was the very reasonable cost for three adults as we were expecting to pay a fortune. Thank you the ivy for making our stay memorable we will definitely be back and you are certainly deserving of your 5 star rating.

Having stayed there before in this very apartment, this is certainly one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Franschhoek.
After parking in the secure underground car park you are greeted by staff who are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in apartment 5 which we have stayed in before and can highly recommend. The apartments have a nice modern feel about them and the size amplified by the double volume. Two double beds does mean you could have 4 people so certainly lots of space for a couple.
Its fully kitted out but I guess the key selling point for me is being able to sit out on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the world go by. Great accommodation, great position (right in town) and would not hesitate recommending to friends and family. Look forward to my next visit.

A little bit of Luxury
We stayed here earlier this year, it was beautifully presented, well appointed, and extremely comfortable. Positioned just off the main street is was very accessible to all things of interest. We were well looked after and received. With some views it was a beautiful apartment and very reasonably priced.

Wonderful relaxing stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in no 7 The Ivy apartments. I really appreciated the attention to detail, from the luxurious bed linen and throws to the cotton wool discs in the bathroom as I had left mine at home. It was a very cold weekend so we made use of the heater in the air conditioning unit. My only criticism is that the downstairs area was freezing (obviously hot air rises)...perhaps more heaters could be added downstairs? Upstairs was beautifully warm. But besides that the apartment was beautifully clean with top quality finishes. We will definitely be back again.
