Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Explorer's Club in Franschoek - 6 of us stayed there very comfortably for 3 nights, enjoying both the close proximity of the restaurants (no one had to drive!) and the open plan layout and space of the Explorer's Club. We invited another 3 families with their children to join us for a braai (BBQ) on one of the days and the large indoor braai was perfect for the 2 huge fresh fish (snoek) that we cooked. The pool was great for the kids as well as adults (good for swimming lengths). The indoor/outdoor living space was perfect for hosting a large group - sufficient intimate spots for people to catch up as well as a large table so we could all eat together. Some of us hadn't seen each other for years and I can't think of a better place for us to have reunited.
