Sanitory dissapointment
The Apartment at the cliffs was lovely and the view was excellent, however, there was a sanitary issue that was very off-putting.

Not a good experience at all. The key was not left at the Security Office as it stated on our confirmation. Our booking was not secured even though we had the confirmation in our hands and that we paid in full a few months in advance. After many phone calls we got into the apartment. The blinds were broken and was not up to standard. After some more phone calls we were put into another apartment. More of the same. These apartments are not exclusive and are amongst full time residents. The disgusting cigarette smoke hanging in the lift lobby on the fifth floor did my asthma no favors. One good thing is that the manager/owner was happy to refund us a 100%. It is a pity that this bad experience has tarnished all other self-serviced apartments. We will steer well clear of these in the future.

Stay at The Cliffs 501
My stay did not start off well, as my booking was not made (Mary-Anne forgot) and I could not find her on her cellphone when I arrived to check in. After a long wait, Rosa came to the rescue and found me an apartment. There were hiccups with the stay, but Rosa went over and beyond, to ensure that I was comfortable and that my needs were met.
Please don't advertise that the apartments come with free wifi when it does not work - it had no "airtime" - out of data. Not very useful.

What a place to live
I thought The Cliffs Tyger Waterfront would only be a place to sleep but because of the view and surroundings I ended up spending all my stay on the premises. It was a perfect home away from home beyond what I ever imagined. Everything is just amazing to the level that leaving feels like the worse thing I could ever do. I will miss the apartment and any chance of a holiday will mean The Cliffs apartments once again.

Beautiful place. Ons het baie lekker gebly by The Cliffs. Die uitsig was ongelooflik. Die plek is mooi skoon. Een of twee goed wat ons gepla het, daar was geen skoonmaak diens in die tyd wat ons daar gebly het nie, nadat ek 'n boodskap gestuur en dit aangemeld het, het ons skoon handdoeke en toiletpapier gekry. Maar die woonstel was glad nie netjies gemaak, beddens opgemaak of skottelgoed gewas nie, afgesien van die feit dat daar iemand in woonstel was om handdoeke en toiletpapier in te sit. Dis asof die dame of dames net verby dit gekyk het. Die skottelgoedwasser wou ook nie aanskakel nie.

The accommodation was beautifully modern and spacious. Gorgeous views over the waterfront below. It is centrally located with 20 min to Cape Town and 20-30 min to Stellenbosch wine route. Definitely will book here again in future.

Great value and comfort
I absolutely loved the apartment at the Cliffs. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. The modern furniture, decor and fittings are beautiful as well as the view from the balcony. The friendly and efficient cleaning and security staff added to a lovely stay. The only problem was the fact that the DSTV was not working and we did not get any response when we sent a message requesting that it be sorted out. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

The rooms were beautiful and well mantained on top of it well designed. The view of the lake was theraputic in addition, the flat was close to shopping and restaurants with a walking distance. I will definitely stay there again.
