Swallows Nest Country Cottages

Unless you are a fan of 1970s retro you may be shocked by the decor of the cottage. The dark brown brick walls and flowery sofas are from a dark age gone by. Given the price, especially in high season, I would expect a little investment; its beautiful location deserves it. On a different note, we wondered if our kind host knew what he was doing given the extreme concentration of chloride in the pool and in the tap water.

Our stay was awesome. The unit was amazing. Had fun and plenty to do. Near the cottages are walks in the Forrest that are safe. We went on a 2 km hike with two children and they really enjoyed the walks. The cottage was stunning and the fresh air well speaks for itself. I only had one issue and that was the water but that was overcome by buying water at the little shop in the village. We had a super stay.I recommend the place for future. Take your own food and water and have a blast like we did.
