Stonebreaker Country Lodge

We have made numerous bookings through Safarinow but have never made as big a mistake as booking Stone Breaker. We are also not the type to cause a scene and complain, but we do take the time to review places we have stayed if particularly good or bad. 1. The bathroom had not been cleaned. 2. The toilet leaked 3. There was no remote for the air-conditioner, we were told "it will cool down when the sun goes down - it was 32 degrees outside. 4. The person on duty was a "reliever" and did not really know what was going on. 5. We could not order omelettes because they were finished because of the festival in town but we could have fried or scrambled eggs? 6. We paid a deposit via the Safarinow website but had to pay the balance in cash as there were no credit card facilities - AT A FOUR STAR ESTABLISHMENT! We stayed at a BETTER 3 star establishment in Storms River Village the night before. We will not be staying there again.

Very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Two fantastic days spent at Stone Breaker. The rooms are equipped with all necessities a traveler can expect! The hosts are friendly & welcoming and were willing meet our needs. The style of the lodges are perfectly set into their surroundings. One day spent relaxing and one day spent visiting the local attractions - it was delightful! Would definitely recommend ! ! !
