Ons het ons verblyf te Soeterus Gasteplaas terdee geniet en kan dit aanbeveel. Jamesly en Annalie was gasvry, die kamers stylvol en die ontbyt baie lekker. Die omgewing was fantasties!

Peaceful, comfortable and friendly
We were greeted by Retief with a much deserved ice cold drink upon arrival. The setting is very tranquil and one can relax at the pool and enjoy the company of Sophie, the family staffie. Breakfast was as good as it gets and overall our stay was very enjoyable. Most memorable will be the game that Sophie likes to play with her ball. First you have to find a way to sneak the ball away from her, then throw it into the distance for her to charge off and fetch. Do this and you'll have a friend for life.

The BEST place in the entire area
We stayed at Soeterus during two days and I can easily say that it is the best place in the area, if not in South Africa. The food was so delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The rooms beautiful and comfortable. The setting super. Frikkie, Marietje and Warren are great hosts. Highly recommended!

GREAT STAY
We had a very good weekend and the bed was so comfortable. The hot shower was a blessing. Breakfast was most enjoyable and we had a fabulous dinner cooked by the hosts on the Saturday evening. We were made to feel most welcome.

A warm welcome
We stayed a night on our way from A to B and wished we could have stayed longer. A warm welcome from both owners, interesting conversations, a cooling dip in the pool and good advice on our future travelling plans. A hearty breakfast, chilled wine on site and I am no longer scared of Staffies!

Soeterus Guest farm is truly a treasure. Every detail is attended to, from fresh morning rusks with your coffee, to towels poolside. The breakfast was spectacular, the service impeccable. The rooms are well appointed, with hand-picked artwork, and a professional design sense. The owners are obviously dedicated to making Soeterus Guest House, not just a place to remember, but an experience to treasure for years to come.
