Enjoyable stay at the Lodge
Nice place to stay, not saw close to the beach as expected, we needed to travel with the car for 15 minutes and stand in line in front of the beach to enter it. Cabin was basic but fine, showers sometimes not warm.Staff very helpful and kind. Diving school at the lodge good.The restaurant serves ok food, nothing special but fills you up well. Breakfast is not too special.

Endless deserted white sandy beach
but only reachable with a car.
Great place to stay for a couple of days if you like diving or fishing.
Not recommendable for swimming.

The chalet at Sodwana Bay Lodge was perfect! Clean, cosy and secure with a sun deck out the front to catch a few rays or watch the moon rise. It was well equipped with a fridge, tea and coffee facilities, DStv and a safe to place all your valuables in. We had dinner in the restaurant and we must say the food was a highlight. The steaks were amazing and came with delicious sauces and our breakfast omelette the next day was something to write home about! The grounds are beautiful to walk around and there is plenty to keep the kids busy - two jungle gyms, a volley ball court, two swimming pools and a games room. There is also a dive shop where you can buy or hire equipment and book your dives. There is even a hairdresser if you need a trim. They seem to have thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay.
