Sentlhaga Guest House

I was so disappointed with the service from the moment i walked in until i checked out. Their ad is misleading and even now i still dont understand for what do they charge R600 per night. The rooms were dusty on the headboards, carperts are too old, there is no DSTV like the ad stated, also they said all rooms are ensuite but my friend slept in a room and had to use the bathroom in the passage. I didnt see a digital safe. As far a security is concerned, I was not impressed, we were provided with the smallest lock on the market for the burglar doors. To top it all, the R600 did not include basic breakfast, we were told that if we want breakfast it's R70 per person. We settled for going to the mall for breakfast because we just felt we will be served bad quality food to match the bad quality service we received. Sentlhaga does not deserve a Star*, I have decided to take the matter up with Department of Tourism and see how they can address presentation, communication, security and misinforming issues...

Cleanliness was good - no problems here. Paper thin walls between rooms. Think they used some kind of wood to divide rooms. First night " neighbor was on his phone for over 2 hours - till 11am. Could hear the entire conversation. And started again at 6am. Soundproofing massive problem and that is why I cant give more than a 3 star rating.
