Good overall
The experience was relaxing, staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were as expected. Breakfast and dinner should be included into the price as self catering is not an option, and the price was a bit steep for the value offered. The river is about 15 minutes' walk away, but not suited for picnics or kids at all. Game rangers didn't seem very knowledgeable on the game drive. Functions can be somewhat disruptive to guests expecting peace and quiet. Be aware of the poor quality 10km dirt road leading to the venue (if traveling by car).

Peaceful rest
We stayed at Savannah Game and River Resort over the long weekend! It was very relaxing and peaceful! At nite time a big herd of wildebeest surrounded our tents, it was amazing!
