Rushoek Lodge

Rushoek Lodge is a quiet cosy place which provides for the tranquil atmosphere a tourist could only dream off far away from home. The only challenge though is the set up in the rooms. Bedding needs to be drastically improved and the furnisher has to also be upgraded. I guess a pool will also add to the much needed fun in the place.

We found the room extremely dirty. The walls were dirty, the oven and two plate stove looked as if they had never been cleaned. The glasses were full of grease marks and the cerial/soup bowls were chiped. There was no place to sit outside, the only chair at the braai was broken. The garden was littered with cigarette butts. The room smelled of smoke. No maintanance had been done whatsoever. The worst part of the stay was the swimming towels that had holes in them and smelled of smoke. They smelled of smoke so badly that I could not dry myself with them. The only good thing was the bedding was clean.
