Interesting
Interesting hotel.

Dissappointing
We stayed in six places during our recent trip
The Royal in Ladysmith was the most expensive and the most disappointing:
1. Small room
2. Dampness on the walls.
3. Non smoking room yet there was a bad smell of tobacco.
4. Room had a generally unhealthy smell
5. Toilet made a long and unpleasant noise after flushing.
6. No sound proofing to outside courtyard therefor noise was bad.
7. Mattress is well past its date
