We really enjoyed our time at Puschka House. There was ample room for our group, and the place was easy to find. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.
Stayed at Pushka Farm with family for the weekend. Firstly, I had to beg for the owner to send me accommodation confirmation.Only when I threatened to go elsewhere did I get the confirmation. I should have got a hint. Not what I expected.The place is fairly clean BUT we had to kill lots of spiders in the cottage, kids were very scared on the first night. Far from everything else. Only met with one owner (Peter) on our arrival and that was it. Struggled with hot water, on Saturday I had to use the kettle for us to bath, on Sunday we made fire ourselves to get warm water. this was not communicated to us.
You need a 4x4 to get there and have all the supplies you going need for your trip because this place is far from everything.
I will not visit again!
The place has lots of potential but it is neglected!

We are disappointed that you feel youhad such a bad experience at our farm. The request from Safari to confirmcame through on the evening of 21 September, we confirmed it on the 21st and youpaid the amount due on the 21st.
We clearly state on our documentationand directions (of which you returned a signed copy) that the cottage is in asecluded valley on an organic farm 30 km outside Magaliesburg, with the last10 km on a gravel road. This road was graded 6 months ago and is in goodcondition and one certainly does not need a 4x4 to get to Puschka Cottage. 95%of our guests have normal cars.
The cottage is in the bush and as itis thatched there will always be a few spiders even though it is thoroughlycleaned before each arrival. We provide Doom in the cottage for those guestswho feel they need it.
Peter met you on arrival at about 1900after speaking to you at least 5 times on the phone to assist with directions.He then directed you to the nearest restaurant (about 18 kms) because you saidyou did not want to make supper at that late hour. Additionally our staff wentto see you twice on Saturday (you were not there in the morning) and once onSunday before you left and did not receive any complaints from you re the hotwater or anything else. Our guests are not at any time expected to make a firefor the hot water. We cannot understand why there was no hot water but wedo however apologise unreservedly for this.

Our break away at Puschka Farm was awesome, the cottage is rustic and comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the bush and the different types of insects / animals that came to visit us.

Great, peaceful escape!
We loved our weekend at Pushka Farm in their Bush Cottage. It was in the middle of the bush, which was fantastic! A nice escape from our busy lives, with no cellphones/internet connections (and no chargers, so we had NO excuse to use our phones!). We enjoyed our walks around the farm, and waking up to the sounds of birds! We'll definitely be back in the near future!

Weekend getaway
We had a lovely stay and would definitely like to go back. The staff were friendly and helpful. The unit wasn't as clean as it could have been and is within earshot of the staff accommodation which meant on Sunday we heard talking and music all day long (which took away from the peace and quiet we so otherwise enjoyed). One last thing, the directions on the map we were given are not clear enough. All this said, it is a lovely place and we hope to return soon.

Puschka Cottage - what a gem!
Just returned from a wonderful weekend to Puschka Cottage near Magaliesburg.
We were looking for a place to accommodate our large family and Puschka Cottage turned out to be perfect. Very peaceful and tranquil in a little valley in the mountains, surrounded by trees and birds.
The cottage is a little bit rustic, but very comfortable and the own pool and privacy, being far away from other dwellings, added something very special.
Beware, no MTN cellphone reception although I understand there is Vodacom and Cell C there. Also we didn't realise there was a stretch of dirt road to get there - thankfully my BMW 3 series made it without any problems.
The owners were also very friendly and helpful - thanks very much.
If you are looking for a quiet breakaway, look no further than Puschka Cottage

Really had a fantastic time, the place was so peaceful, a great place for some R & R.
Except for a few minor maintenance issues everything else was wonderful, beds were comfy, lounge was cozy but the best part of it all was the farm style kitchen absolutely loved it! great place for the family to spend some quality time together with no external distractions.

What a great place
If you want a quiet, peaceful holiday then this is the place. We had so much fun. It was great for the kids to get back to nature and there is plenty to do around the area. The staff were fantastic, a big thanks to Anna for all her help. We will be going back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the puschka farm,though i think the keys shouldnt be collected that far,and boards should be put on the side of the road for directions to be easier,but the place was nice everything was in place and the friendly staff members.
