We stayed 2 nights as, unfortunately, we had prepaid. Our welcome was over-effusive and a bit off-putting. First night, the gas was turned off behind the house which we only found in the morning., so no cooking. There was no tea, coffee, sugar or milk. The electric blanket lead did not reach the outlet. There is no TV. A very beautiful setting but we won't be back

Pennygum Cottages give you this special moment when you know for sure: you are at the right place at the right time where you should be and no other stay in our holidays will outdo this. The view is stunning, the rooms are cozy, super-clean and well equipped, it feels from the very first moment like you´re home. Sarah and Paul are definitely the best hosts of South Africa.
