Palm Lodge

We booked through Safarinow.  When we arrived, there was controversy about the rate that we paid, the receptionist complained that she had to wait for our money for another week, there was a problem with the quotation and the price that we paid. We booked for B&B as advertised  and quoted by Safarinow but the receptionist claimed that breakfast was not included but that she would give us  "free" breakfast.  NOT  NICE  AT  ALL! 
The room which was located to us, opened into the reception area, the only window also opened into the reception area!  Again, not nice!
The next day we asked to move into our daughter"s room after she left and it was wonderful.  This room opens onto a veranda and beautiful garden area.  All the rooms are beautiful, spotless and clean, lovely beds, mattresses, bedding etc.  We had lovely breakfasts in a beautifully refurbished dining room and friendly staff.  The two young men who took over at reception over the weekend can be commended.

What excellent service we have received from Palm Lodge! The staff is very efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend Palm Lodge to all my family and friends if they need a place to stay when visiting the "Rose City". Thank you very much for all you have done to accommodate me and my family during our stay on the 9th and 10th of April 2014.
