Owners are warm, welcoming and entertaining. We were treated as part of the family instead of a guest. A open vibe was created between all guests from the moment we arrived. Will be our permanent guest house and will recommend it to anyone travelling to or through Kimberly.

On our way to Kimberley, disaster struck halfway between Carnarvon and Vosburg with a trailer tyre that burst and we had to leave it unattended at the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and go back to Carnarvon. Happily it was still there when we got back and we were soon on our way. Alas, the car which had been going perfectly after some 3000kms of travel, suddenly lost power and we were crawling along, airconditioning had to be switched off (it was 40 degrees at the time) and we limped into Britstown where it was found that a coil needed to be replaced (no spare parts for Peugeot available and it was a Friday afternoon). Long story shorter, with a snails pace (no aircon) we got to P & K hot, sweaty and miserable to get a very warm welcome from Lynette who insisted we forget about our troubles and make ourselves at home which we gratefully did. Relaxed atmosphere (with aircon), comfy beds, soft towels and a lovely shower, open hospitality - we went on our way refreshed and renewed the next day. Lynette you are great. We will definitely recommend your establishment to anyone wanting value for money and a home away from home.
