Oude Denneboom

We loved being here. Closing the heavy wooden shutters at night and opening them in the mornings to see the zebras and the buck was exciting. The facilities were ample with everything provided in a well-equipped kitchen. The scuttling of guinea fowl and the tiny wagtails peeping through the tiny white daisies in the grass were just part of a romantic hideaway, close to nature and so very peaceful. We loved it.

Was a very pleasant stay. Will make use of this accommodation again.

Absolutely fantastic! Lovely cottage, superb wine and wonderful early morning walks amoungst the game. We will deffinitely be back!

Our place of choice from now on! This is one of those gems that are few and far between. What a well run establishment. The cottage (more a house) is equipped with everything you can think of. Every detail has been thought about. The beds were comfortable and beautifully dressed. The main en-suite bathroom (yes, there are two!)is breathtaking with a huge shower and bath and lovely amenities and toiletries. Huge indoor and outdoor fireplaces make it possible to cater in any weather. The peace and tranquility of the location is something I will miss for a long time. We saw Eland, Springbuck, Blou Wildebeest and Zebra - all grazing together. This is the place to go if you want a perfect, isolated holiday. As if all of the above aren't enough, they throw in your own private swimming pool on your own private verandah. The Oude Denneboom is amazing. We will be back! PS. Do yourself a favour and try their amazing wines.
