Disappointing
Unfortunately we found the place not cleaned.Yes, clean linen but overall not clean -- dirty cups, spoons and dustbin and a few insects here and there.I wish I could give a nicer review. Perhaps it was because we stayed over on the Sunday after Christmas and it could be that staff were not available. But if you run an establishment your service levels need to be constant, irrespective of public holidays.

Great stopover
We stopped in Springbok to take a rest from the long roads - and the Old Mill Lodge proved to be a perfect place for doing this. The room was spacious and very quiet, the garden was beautiful, and the little walk up the hill right behind the house offered a nice view over town. The breakfast room is also very cosy and the breakfast itself a delight. Owners and staff are extremely friendly. Oh, and watch out for the dog - happiest welcoming committee ever.

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. The problem in our room was the curtains that were too thin to cut out the spot light from the neighbour, so sleep was difficult and despite our complaint, the neighbour kept his light on. Unlikely to return.
