Gorgeous setting!
What a lovely find! The setting of the cottage is stunning: there are views over the Olifants river valley and the Swartberg mountains from the cottage, pool and braai area. The accommodation was more than expected: spacious, very clean and with a lovely artistic and individual flare. There is a self catering kitchen and delicious inexpensive organic fruit and veg to buy freshly picked from the abundant garden.
I enjoyed walks in the surrounding hills and chats to the wonderful owners about living off the grid and self built cob houses. With only one guest cottage on the beautiful farm you are made to feel very special and well taken care of. If you are looking for a great farm stay this one comes highly recommended!

ITS THE ROAD LESS TAKEN THAT YOU OFTEN COME TO FIND THOSE REAL GEMS TO STAY OVER IN. NUMBI VALLEY IS MOST DEFINITELY ONE OF THOSE. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN ABOUT GETTING OFF THE GRID, GO AND SEE WHAT KATH AND ROSS ARE UP TO. MAGIC AND WONDERFUL TO SEE IT CAN BE DONE. A rare gift
Numbi Valley is one of those places you selfishly don't want to tell anyone about. Private, tranquil, comfortable... I didn't want to leave. Next time will be a longer stay with hours to swim, walk and gaze at the magnificent surrounds. This is perfect if you want to experience how one can live in harmony with nature in an environmentally sensitive way... the permaculture gardens were fascinating too.

Little piece of Eden
We spent 2 nights at this lovingly restored little house in February and had a wonderful time. The house shows so much love to detail, beautiful decorative skills, the view is stunning, the vegetable garden inspiring and the hosts such lovely people. Make sure to ask them to bake you a pizza in their wood-fired oven - it is unparalleled! We brought our dogs and had nice walks with them and they enjoyed running freely with no farm animals or other dogs around. We will be back! Thank you Kathryn and Ross for this lovely time!

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay and a warm welcome at Numbi Valley. If you want to get away from city noise, this is the place to stay. I would love to visit during the colder months - to make use of the fireplace!

Peaceful slice of Heaven
We were so impressed by the accommodation at Numbi! We made pizzas in their pizza oven and spend the hot Karoo days splashing in the beautiful pool. I cannot recommend it enough!
