I was quite impressed with what I got. Its a no frills, accommodation, it doesn't pretend to be what it isn't. I believe what you get for the price is good enough. I would definitely stay there next time if the need arise. Unfortunately it was just an overnight stay, so I couldn't see much. One thing I would recommend they do is signage. We couldn't find Monate Rest Camp on the GPS, but Monate Lodge. Also the sign board doesn't say Monate Rest Camp, instead Waterberg Sports Resort.

What a disappointment.
What we saw on the web when we did the booking and what we got when we arrived there was total in another class and not upper class. The staff was not ready for us, they had to get the rooms ready while we were already booked in. We were not even been supplied with any coffee or tea etc which we are used to get when
making use of B&B facilities. To be honest with you we will never make a booking at your place or recommend the rest camp to anybody. Our rating is 1 out of 10 for your rest camp. I can actually write a whole page of negativities on our experience at your rest camp which was only for one
night.

Not happy at all
I guess the place is a nice one and good quite place and nice rooms. The only problem is that the information map is misleading and misguiding which is dishonest on your part. Secondly the contact person is never on place and was not helpful at all, made to feel one is a problem for asking for own moneys worth. Thank but no thanks, not monate but sour.

Serene and tranquil
We initially wanted to stay for one night, but ended up staying for 2 nights as we were impressed by the tranquility and serenity of the place, above all else. The swimming pool was in superb condition. We are a family of 5 , 2 teenagers, a baby , wifey and I.
