Not Self catering accommodation
We booked a self catering unit but unfortunately the accommodation was not anywhere near what one could call self catering.There is no S/C at these premises, it is a nice guest house. We had a nice room with en suite but the rest was an alcove with a washup a kettle and some cutlery.Sorry but this advert was misrepresenting the term Self Catering as normally understood. Although we were offered the use of the guest house kitchen it necessitated walking through the entire house.Nice hosts compensated for the shortcomings somewhat.

What a beautiful, clean and well kept home in the most remote, yet interesting location! Meerkat Manor is very clean and tidy and well equipped for self catering. It has a very interesting 100 year old pool which we certainly made use of in trying to cool down. For travellers passing through this area or for a relaxing stop over for a couple of days, it is definitely recommended.
