We had a great stay and very personal service. Felt right at home and the breakfast was delicious! Definitely recommend people to stay here.

Very comfortable
We stayed two nights at Mavilla and it was very comfortable. It was a pity that the weather was raining as we didn't get chance to try out the pool area or even sit on the balcony of our room. Breakfast was an english breakfast and was more than ample food. Tea and coffee was not available in the rooms but they have a system downstairs where you help yourself to as much as you like. Would highly recommend.

Exceptional hospitality
The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful and really makes her guests feel at home. The property is lovely. It has character and all the bedrooms are and carefully and tastefully furnished. There is a secluded fairly large swimming pool which I think is an essential when visiting anywhere in South Africa in the summer. The breakfast is excellent and coffee is always available.
