Fantastic
We stayed there over two nights and had a fantastic time. Rika and Gustav are both so friendly and the Lodge is beautiful. They went the extra mile to help us enjoy a romantic weekend away. We will definitely be coming back!

Pleasant stay, but with minor niggles
Overall we had a pleasant stay. The rooms and facilities are nicely decorated, the garden is lush and green and the owners and staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty standard but tasty. The enclosed outside shower is a winner! Minor niggles: The ceiling in the bathroom had serious mildew on it, which is maybe understandable after two weeks of solid rain, but it looks like no attempt was made to clean it. Also the really cheap hollow core bathroom door has seen better days and even if new would be out of character with the general standard of the buildings. Another Suggestion: While much of the quasi-antique furniture adds to the rustic atmosphere, some items of furniture look more like they come out of an 80s motel room and actually detract from what is otherwise a tastefully decorated "rustic" look.
