We thoroughly enjoyed our stay – the atmosphere was relaxed and
tranquil – the only noise we heard was the roar of the lions!
The place is rustic and natural - totally different from the
concrete jungle called Johannesburg where reside.
The owner (Leon) and the staff members Pete and Thembi were
so accommodating we felt as if we were home.
We definitely will be visiting Mahala View again.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and so is the owner. We learned a lot about lions. Just wish there was more to do there.

Awesome experience with Leon & his cats!!
Very enjoyable & educational. Leon goes out of his way for his guests. Was absolutely awesome to see these magnificent cats so close by and see his bond with them. We certainly learnt a lot from him.

Great experience
Mahala View is one experience that words are limited to describe. Leon is an amazing man and his knowledge and love for these beasts of nature is God given. The resort is relaxing, tranquil and the roars of the Lions every evening, night and early mornings is spell bounding. We had a break that is unforgettable and will surely be visiting many more times ahead. Thank you to Leon, Mahala View and his fantastic staff.
