Excellent stay
This is the first time that I have experienced a stay without any disappointment. The chalets were very neat, clean and a pleasure to stay in. This was an amazing weekend away!

This was more than what me and my wife expected! This weekend felt like a week and we relaxed until the end.
On arrival we were met by an open-plan clean romantic atmosphere chalet that consisted of a large bathtub, overlooking the river. You automatically get that vacation feeling once you entered.
The swimming pool helped allot to cool down and we unexpectedly received some visitors the Saturday evening. Two zebras were standing in front of our chalets while we were busy with a braai. Our stay was really pleasant and we will be heading back very soon!

Fantastic Night Away

Quiet and cozy
Only an hour away from Sandton, I had very relaxing time there. Cottage was small but cozy, perfect for a couple. There are zebras, ostriches, bucks, monkeys just grazing around the property, they are friendly and something to watch and relax. I would definitely recommend it.

Cosy
Very cosy and intimate location. loved the peace and quite and watching the animals grazing outside whilst lying in bed, was an awesome view of the river. facilities were great and at a very reasonable price...will definitely visit again and will recommend this to my friends.

Perfect weekend breakaway
We stayed in chalet No 3. They have eight chalets available, close enough but you do not see or hear your neighbours.
Peace and quiet, just what we needed.
Peter and I were looking for a breakaway as the kids and grandkids stay with us and are awake from 05h00 on weekends with yelling and screaming kids. All we wanted was to be woken up by birds not kids. We did hear birds, but were up with the sound of Air balloons going over the chalets.
This place will definitely see us again.
The chalet is just big enough for two people and well equiped, except no TV, but we did not mind. They had even matches available as we do not smoke and wanted to braai and we forgot to bring some with.
We were lucky to see some animals, Emos, Zebras, some buck and felt likes kids seeing Zebras for the first time.
Something else that we found nice was a Restaurant about 4km from the resort, Die Ou Pastorie. The foods is excellent and worth trying them. We were told that the menu changes everyday.
This place will definitely see us again.

Ideal to get away from everything
It is a jewel and it is so close to home. The accessories in the chalets are well thought through and practical. It is quiet and perfect for any couple who need some time away from everything.

Really enjoyed our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing and peaceful, and we loved the design of the chalet allowing the full view of the outdoors in complete privacy. The only thing which dissapointed was the green swimming pool.
