Great Cozy Apartment!
If you are looking for a weekend in Clarens to enjoy the town this apartment is for you! Its also not too far from the square should you decide to walk.
On the other hand: if you want to spend more time at the apartment, have a braai with friends (more than 4 people), I suggest looking for something a little bigger.
Although its small, it catered for all our needs with the caregiver just a phone call away.
The cleaning staff came in daily at (a time of your choosing).
The bedding was really nice (as Im very picky when it comes to this), warm blanket on the double bed, two heaters with another in the bathroom, kitchen was well equipped and overall a very nice apartment.
In a nutshell we were very happy and enjoyed our stay! We will definitely use that apartment again!

Disappointed
We were very disappointed with the venue. It was extremely small - thank goodness there were only two of us and no kids. The area that Kozmos is in is outside Clarens and as a women, I felt unsafe. I do however understand that for the rate we paid, and the fact that we booked the venue on the day of arrival, it was a roof over our heads. We were meant to spend two nights and ended up only staying one.
Thanks to Juliet though who was amazing and very accommodating.....

In response to the review from Monica Blomefield - everyone is of course entitled to their opinion but I would just like to point out that:
a) Kozmos apartment is a fairly standard size room with a mezzanine floor where the two single beds are. That mezzanine floor does tend, for some people, to make the place seem smaller but, having personally stayed in many hotels, b and b's and other venues, the main room in Kozmos is a comfortable size. We certainly have had no complaints before about that, even from a family of four.
b) Safety - we know that people from the cities are very security conscious and the 24 hour roving security team in our complex is sometimes not considered adequate by those from the city. They tend to bring that city security perspective to Clarens, which is a small village with very little crime. It is a totally different way of life and much more relaxed! Certainly, crime is a rarity in the Larola complex where Kozmos is situated. Kozmos has burglar bars on the windows and the owner will be installing security doors soon anyway as he lives in Durban and is aware of the city mindset.
c) I own an apartment in that complex and I have let it to an elderly lady for over a year and she has had no problems and is very content there.
I am very sorry that Monica was not happy and it's a pity that she did not tell me this when she phoned me before they left the apartment to return home. I thought they were a very nice couple so I was rather sad to read the review.
