Very peaceful
This is a very peaceful place to stay, almost too peaceful, in fact: there doesn't seem to be much activity in the main house, which, externally, is obviously in need of some TLC. I suspect that the owner is not in residence but leaves it in the capable hands of the manageress, Jemma, who was kindness itself. Room was large and comfortably appointed though lacking an armchair. There was also a very visible cigarette or other burn in the carpet next to the bed. Pity. Useful little kitchenette with fridge. Nicely appointed bathroom with loads of hot water, which was a blessing as it was minus something at night and in the early morning when I was there.

Thank you
We spent our wedding night in the Presidential Suite and we can only applaud and recommend the quality of the accommodation, excellent breakfast and personal touch with the service and welcome we received. Thank you Chris and team for sharing in your old world beauty for a day.
