Bushveld bliss
We stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed it. Arriving just after the first rains meant that the bushveld was smelling amazing and the worst dust of the dry winter had been settled. It was still too chilly to swim (which one can do in the splash pool), but it was lovely weather to walk around in, as well as for the excellent game drive we took. The bedrooms in the chalet are large, cool and comfortable, while the kitchenette is equipped with everything one could need for the weekend. The main kitchen (complete with dishwasher!) and lapa areas are available if needed. We just relaxed and took in the bush - absolutely peaceful.

Weekend at Isilwane
This was our 14th wedding anniversary and we decided to go away. Our stay was wonderful, relaxing and tremendous. Next time I will not take such a long game drive, I will use the map. Thanks to Chris and his staff for their hospitality. We will revisit this wonderful place.
