Beautiful house with beautiful view
We had a lovely stay at Highlands Farm Estate. It is not far off the N3, the road that leads there is good and what a beautiful house in a beautiful location! Everything was clean and the house has a huge kitchen and dining room table! We will hopefully be back for a bit more than just one night stopover.

One-night stay-over
Hi,
We were allowed to arrive before 14:00 in order to hike the area - however, too much to be discovered in the area for the limited time we allowed.
The HFE is a jewel, recommended to hikers who also need perfect facilities to relax.
The house is neat, tidy, spotlessly clean an inviting.

Home away from home
We did an overnight stay on our way to Durban. Wow, what an immaculate place, well worth a stay.
Well furnished and has everything you need. All your home comforts.
Has 4 beautiful bedrooms en-suite.
You need to bring your all your own food, toiletries and detergents.

Valentines Stayover
We spent valentines day/night here enroute to Ballito, had a nice braai on the built-in gas braaier then had a nice valentines picnic on the grass in front of the house. Rooms have a nice layout with views of the gorge with a stunning view of the sunrise. Everything needed is available on the peaceful atmosphere is excellent

Amazing and luxurious
Level of luxury was amazing and just the privilege to be given the opportunity to stay in someones beautiful home and have carte blanche to enjoy the views and hospitality of the homeowner was something we don't see anymore, we will be back soon.

Very nice place
A couple of words comes to mind when I think about our stay at Highlands... breathtaking, luxurious, relaxing, romantic and cold. Got the best of everything! The cold was overpowered by a cosy fireplace, and we cuddled up on a lovely comfortable couch... It was divine!

Pleasant stay
Our stay at the farm was very pleasant. It has all the amenities you need for staying over for a few days or even just for a stopover. The view is spectacular and of course it is just so peaceful that you cant believe the highway is just a few kilometers away. We found Kas the owner to be very friendly, pleasant and helpful and will definitly return to Highlands Farm again in the future.

What a hidden gem. We stayed Highlands Farm Estate en-route from Ballito to Joburg, but this is worth more than just an overnight stop. Perfect place for a celebration weekend.
The house feels almost brand new and is equipped with highest quality furnishings.
The view from the house over Van Reenen's is spectacular.
