Lovely and charming
A lovely and amazing outing to the winelands.
The room was generous and warm (thanks to underfloor heating and a gas fireplace). Breakfast was good, the cheese platters in front of the fire scrumptious and decadent.
The staff was friendly and accommodating - in fact it felt like we were at home, just a grander, older one.

Relaxing haven
Beautiful guest house with gorgeous breakfast and stunning antiques and grounds. Felt like staying in your dream house and not hotel like at all. Had a super massage in-room. No restaurant but you get afternoon tea and can order a cheese platter if you're staying in (we have a baby so we tended to). Cakes are excellent! White room was OK but a little worn, perhaps they gave us this one as we had a child. Carpet was v dirty and needed a decent clean. Ask for the 4 poster room off the main room in the house. Amazing view of table mountain. Lovely hummingbirds and gorgeous dogs!
