I had a lovely stay at Fynbos. Warm, friendly hosts make you feel at home from the start. Old house with a lot of character. Home away from home. Peaceful! Will defnitely go back.

Fynbos Ridge is perfect
When we looked for reviews on TripAdvisor for Fynbos Ridge, we were amazed to see that it had all 4 and 5 stars - we now know why! We stayed in one of the cottages and it was beautiful inside and out! The view was spectacular (the only hint of civilization was a power line that ran close to the cottage) and the patio and braai area was the perfect place for kids to play whilst we enjoyed a meal after a long day of watching whales etc. The interior was very well decorated and was quite luxurious - the owners have made a real effort to make this place comfortable. The owners were very accommodating and friendly and there is plenty to do in the area (Fynbos Ridge is a 5 min drive from Plettenberg Bay and a ~30 min drive from Knysna). We will absolutely stay here again.

Fynbos is best!
This was the highlight of our trip. Liz and Brian truly are the most amazing hosts! We enjoyed every moment spent at Fynbos Ridge. The rooms were spotless and had everything you would need. Brain is an excellent cook and I’m pretty sure he has been a chef for many years. If you are looking for peace and quiet with good company, then Fynbos Ridge is the place to be. Thank you once more Liz and Brian for everything. We are going to tell everybody about your truly magical establishment.

On our whole trip this was, without a doubt, my favourite place to stay.
Easy to find, massive bedroom, very well furnished and great biscuits!
We had a deal including dinner, which was delicious - much higher standard of cooking than we had expected.
Grounds and pool look lovely, was just to cold in winter!
Would definitely recommend to everyone, and will definitely stay again on my next trip to SA.
