Edgewater Cottage

I have never in my travels stayed in such a beautiful home for self-catering. Every single photo of this place is exactly as it is. It is beautiful and spotless. Every thing you need is catered for. 4 adults and 2 small children (aged 4 and 2) were very happy here and we did not want to leave, in fact we even toyed with extending for a further night just because we loved the house and Knysna so much. Nothing was ever too much hassle for Renette and her hubby, the owners. Thanks so much Renette, I will DEFINITELY be staying here again. loved it... thanks again.

From the moment I made contact with SafariNow and Renette, owner of Edgewater, my experience has been so good. I had to change the dates....no problem. I arrived later than originally expected....no problem. The house itself is thoughtfully appointed, not fussy just stylish and comfortable. Easy living the way a holiday should be. Plenty of towels, linen, well fitted kitchen, everything that was needed and extra was there. Furnishings, linen, cutlery crockery all great quality. No skimping there. Flowers in all the bedrooms and a fabulous one in the lounge on arrival made us feel so welcome. Edgewater is within walking distance of the shops, even to walk to the nearest supermarket for fresh items was within walking distance. We didnt use our car once during our stay. All our interaction with Renette was handled in a friendly and efficient way. I will certainly be back and will most definitely refer Edgewater to my friends when they look for accomodation in Knysna.
