Dolphin Beach Hotel
The Dolphin Beach Hotel have a fantastic luxury apartmentwith beautiful views and Friendly staff. The hotel is situated close to theshops. I will definitely come back again.
The hotel is tired and tacky and the service delivery needs a serious shot in the arm.
We expected, and paid for, a 4 star experience but it sadly lacked on most of the criteria for the awarding of a 4 Star status.
From what we saw and experienced there is little or no attempt at maintaining an environment of excellence, as is required by 4 Star criteria. Cobwebs all over a public area, broken doors on cupboards in the restaurant, dirty floors in the restaurant, broken floor boards on beach cabana wooden decks, weeds and rubbish in public garden areas and an absolutely filthy underground garage in the area of store and change rooms.
Although the restaurant food is good, the service is appalling, particularly at breakfast when the buffet constantly ran out of plates and food and waiters had to be constantly reminded to replenish same.
I could go on with much more but the only saving grace of the hotel is its position on a lovey stretch of beach with a stunning view of Table Mountain. My family would never return to the hotel unless the 4 Star status was able to be consistently achieved 24/7/365
