Overnight stay
We stayed at the Lodge for one night as we had an early flight from OR Tambo. The Lodge was comfortable enough, it was very close to the airport and we had a transfer from the airport to the lodge and back the next morning. The lodge was clean, neat and tidy with coffee/tea facilities in the rooms. we however did not use any of that since we basically just slept for about 4 hours getting off our late flight into Johannesburg.

Perfect for a stopover
Perfect for a brief stop over between flights. The room was very clean (except I would have liked a complimentary shampoo). The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was really good to know that trf from and back to airport was done in such a good and again friendly manner and at the time that was requested so no anxiety at all. Breakfast basic but perfect. Thank you to all involved. I would definately use them again should the need arise.

My name is Mzi. It was my first time at Doeny Lodge and I did not know what to expect. Before I even get there I was already impressed when I called and spoke to Michael about how am I gonna get there. He arranged for me to be picked up, I was very impressed. Nice welcome when I arrived, I was shown my room and he availed himself should I need anything. It was great. I left early before the time I expected so I did not eat the breakfast that I was looking forward to but when I got a call from my roommate I left at the lodge that they took him with a car to the taxi rank, I was left speechless. I'm coming back at Doeny lodge, for a full weekend this time. I never been treated so nice before in a lodge or a hotel as I'm a very outgoing person. Thank you, much love. Big Up!!!
