A hidden gem
We stayed at Die Baai se Bek for 3 days. The accomodation was lovely, loved the fireplace and the relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipt and the decor and furnishings are very unique and quint. I fell in love with Hondeklipbay and will definately return in the near future.

Rustic Peace
Loved staying here. Mynderd was a super host and the rustic charm of the accommodation was perfect. No fancy frills but plenty of space, beautiful views and delightful whimsical touches like the pottery bowls in the bathroom and the fork and spoon hanger behind the bedroomdoor catch ones attention.
It was chilly and very misty so little activity in the 'harbour' but we were comfortable and cosy. The rooms are not en suite and if you don't like that then this is not the place for you, to me it was no hardship going to the bathroom next door as all rooms lead off of a verandah area.
Charming garden adds to the whimsical touch and peace. A second visit is definitely a must!

Pragtigste plekkie. Die binnekant is 'n groot "surprise". Lieflike duvets, elke kamer met sy eie dekor en tema. Die opslaan afdak in die sitkamer is die beste en die pragtige uitsig op die see. Als wat jy nodig het, met vol Dstv. Ons was 2 dae daar, maar sou veel langer wou bly. Beslis die bes gelee akkommodasie op Hondeklipbaai. Ons sal weer wil kom. Amazing!!

Lovely stay at Die Baai se Bek
We enjoyed our stay at this place very much. It has everything you need. The fire place inside makes it comfortable on the chilly nights. So you can always braai! The view on the sea was wonderful.
Just a pity there was no fresh fish for sale as we were looking forward to that.

Alhoewel die plek netjies en skoon was en 'n pragtige uitsig gehad het was dit teleurstellend dat die badkamer nie direkte toegang vanaf die slaapkamers gehad het nie en ook dat die badkamer en slaapkamer nie aaneen met die leefarea is nie.
Although the place tidy and was clean and had had a great view, it was disappointing that the bathroom did not have direct access from the bedroom and also the bathroom and bedroom, together with the living area is.
Establishment Response:
There is absolutely no way that I can changethe structure of Die Baai se Bek just to accommodate Anonymous’s ideas.
To put “the bathroom and bedroom, togetherwith the living area” is not possible.
Maybe Anonymous should visit DieBaai se Bek again so that she can explain her ideas to me in person.

A week in heaven
Our stay of one week was absolutely fantastic. Excellent view, good weather, warm atmosphere and hospitality and comfortable facilities. We were free to walk and cycle everywhere. It really gave our soles the chance to catch up with our bodies. Fantastic value for money.

Best family holiday EVER!
We spend four days at the venue, which was about two weeks too short. Beautiful set-up, warm reception, cosy, open yet private, tastefully decorated and almost on the beach. Our hosts made us part of the family and we fitted right in. Stunning sunsets, sea views, and good, relaxing, quiet times. We will surely be back.

Lekker plek
Wat 'n ongelooflike ervaring om te kon deel in 'n stukkie ongerepte natuur. Die ontvangs by Die Baai se Bek was hartlik en die kamers baie netjies en ten volle toegerus. Die badkamer met sy oulike wasbak krane het my opgeval. Dankie Ina vir die vriendelikheid en die besonderse koffiebekers as geskenk aan ons.

The most rest-full holiday I have had in a long time, for the first time I didn’t feel I needed a holiday after my holiday. A few hundred meters from the beach and I mean that quite literally. We were well looked after by the owners who made to feel right at home from day one, Ina and her husband are just fantastic individuals…I would recommend ‘Die Baai se Bek’ to anybody. Thanks.
