We loved our short stay at Country Lane Lodge ... the owners Di, George and John are very kind and friendly, we just felt like family members! Great breakfast and beautiful surroundings!

We arrived Friday and returned the Sunday 29th Sept'13 and honestly I did not want to rate Country Lane Lodge the same day as my return, I was not happy about the treatment my family received, I was not happy about the fact that she couldn't keep her dogs away just for the time we were around, eg, Breakfast, my niece 1 and a half year old is scared of dogs and she couldn't accommodate that.... there was no hospitality given by Di during our stay, George was amazing, Thank You George for your hospitality, the place was great but I honestly don't see myself going there again or recommending it to people I know.

Amazing weekend
We spent the most wonderful weekend at the Country Lane Lodge! You couldn't imagine more friendly and welcoming hosts - Di and George! We had a lovely room with a huge bathroom and were served delicious breakfasts (conveniently packed in cute bags on Saturday, when we had to leave the lodge early morning). The property is really beautiful and the huge pool brought us a much needed refreshment after a hot day in Mpumalanga. We will definitely be back and would dearly recommend the Country Lane Lodge to anyone planning to spend the weekend in the area!
