Room for Improvement
For the price I suppose we could do worse but the communal ablutions bring the overall rating down very significantly.
Also, we had to share a dorm with selfishly loud boardgame players so if there's ever a next time we will rather opt for more private room with en-suite...

The Clarens Inn and Backpackers is fantastically simple. In a beautiful environment, with decor that reminds one of summer camp, it's the perfect place to gather a group of friends for a weekend away.

If you are a budget traveller...
The reviews I checked before my booking were not so good. But I couldn't find other affordable accommodation and its cheap price attracted me. Anyway it was just one night. And my evaluation is... the location is not so good, the beds are not so comfortable, the kitchen doesn't have a refrigerator, the bathroom doesn't have a shower (can you believe? there's was only dirty bathtub.) But it's was cheap enough to make me tolerate all of the complaints. Anyway just one night.

We had a really great stay - very friendly crowd. Only a bit dark between the bathroom and our campsite behind the main house.
