What a gem!
I am a bit hesitant to give my honest review because I would like to keep the this lovely dwelling a secret. To say the least, it is the gem of Stilbaai. Perfectly located too. In the evenings we were visited by a pair of owls on the verandah. Unforgettable!

Enjoyable!
Stayed at Charlotte House for 8 days over New Year 2013/4. The house is airy and bright and has wonderful accommodation with big bedrooms and living areas. The beds are big and very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. All that is missing to make it 5 star is a pool, as you need to drive to get to the beach.

Peaceful and refreshing
My wife and I reserved a night's stay at the beautiful Charlotte House as a night's stop-over en route back from honeymooning on the Garden Route. We were pleasantly surprised by the architectural ingenuity which blends classic aesthetics with modern living. T he result is refreshing and is a reminder of timeless values. The bordering nature conservation area gives the surrounds a peaceful air. We would have loved to stay for at least a week to enjoy the full experience. We were delighted by our stay and can really say we found quite a gem!
