Our stay at Castello Catharina was amazing and wonderful.    It is a beautiful luxurious room  - we had the executive suite.   The service was excellent and the tranquil setting of the castle will definitely be a "come back" for us.

Beautiful room with a wonderful view

We stayed in the Nicolai suite and everything was perfect. The room and furnishings are luxurious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was spacious and I could enjoy a relaxing bath and my husband a nice warm shower. The view was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking Clarens.

The staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the well prepared breakfast. 

It was definitely worth the price we paid.

Heavenly escape

What a beautiful B&B in the most peaceful setting!
We stayed in the 2 bedroom family room. Very convenient, private and spacious. It is a quick 2 minute drive from the main town. Everything from the room to the view to the reception staff was amazing. Definitely recommended if you are travelling to Clarens.

Enjoyed the stay
We enjoyed our stay this long weekend. The “family” room, however, which turned out to have a staircase for use by the other guests in the middle of the room did not provide the privacy we paid for. Either the owner must consider the area downstairs as “common area” and not charge for it, alternatively, make other arrangements to ensure that the guests who booked the “family area” can make use of it fully. Besides this, food good, enjoyed the stay- probably the most luxurious place to stay in Clarens.
