Karoo Bliss
Good Karoo hospitality far enough away from the N1 to enjoy the silence and stars of the Karoo. The 19 km trip on farm road is well worth the effort.

Very pleasant overnight stay. Comfortable accommodation, very clean and neat. Very nice breakfast, catered well for vegetarian at the last minute! Owner stayed up for us as we checked in quite late. Even though 19km from the N1 - it is well worth it!

Not suitable for overnight travellers as it is too far off the M1. Difficult to find and there are no signposts. Accommodation is basic and meals are not up to standard.

Hospitable
We had a wonderful evening at Bushman Rock besides the cold weather that Colesburg offers. Our rooms were warm with heaters and hot water bottles and the hot shower was soothing to the tired limbs. We slept well in the comforting bed before braving the cold at 05:00 the next morning!

We enjoyed our stay at Bushman's Rock. The rooms were very comfortable. Anene, the owner, went out of her way to see that we were satisfied. We had dinner and breakfast there. Both meals were delicious! Highly recommended.
