This was a lovely overnight stay. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and the rondavel was very well fitted out and had everything we needed. The farm is beautiful, with a lovely walk down to the river in the valley. We would love to come back some time. Highly recommended.

Best weekend ever!
We cannot stop talking about what an amazing weekend we had. One of the best venues we have ever been too. Perfect for kids. The hike to the waterfall was too beautiful for words. We got back with a few bumps and bruises but all worth it. We will definitely be back!

Bergrivier
I can highly recommend Bergrivier for hospitality, quality of lodgings and service. Being stuck due to a misunderstanding, Bergrivier immediately assisted and provided cold drink, a great dinner and breakfast. The scenery is amazing and hiking along the Bergrivier kloof and a hidden kloof was fantastic. I would highly recommend Bergrivier for nature and hiking lovers.

Absolutely Beautiful
Wielewaal - Wooden Log Home was fantastic. We were warm welcomed at our arrival. Everything that you needed was available, everything was clean and fresh. The view was ama-ZING, the fresh air and quietness were most welcome. We will definitely visit Bergrivier again.

A beautful escape!
We arrived at Bergrivier two days into our holiday and in much need of a the paradise that awaited. Bergrivier is tranquil, beautiful and has a simple air about it. We had the entire campsite to ourselves and we found ourselves relxing within nature almost instantly.
Japie made us completely at home within their camp site - the bathrooms were clean, we had free firewood and the fire-wood powered geyser was set up for us on arrival. I couldn't have asked for more welcoming patrons and I could feel their love for their farm and the place where their family has stayed for so many generations. I really consider this a special place where I will definitely return to.

Lovely surroundings
We had a lovely 1 night stay. People MUST know you preferably need a 4x4 to get to the campsite.
