My husband and I had a good time. The only problem was that for both days, at around 9am, someone came to our door and opened without knocking, wanting to clean. That was very uncomfortable for us, especially cause we were getting dressed so we could check out at 10. The rooms should be cleaned after people have checked out.

The accommodation and surrounds are neat and kept in very good condition. There is a restaurant on site which serves good food. The staff are very efficient and helpful with everything. We have no complaints for the Battlefields Country Lodge only compliments. We would refer anyone we know going to this part of the country to the Battlefields Country Lodge.

Our rooms in the bungalows were very clean and comfortable. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and accomodating. Battlefields country lodge is ideally situated for touring the battlefields and is far enough away from the Dundee that you feel like you are away from the city, yet not too far if you want to nip to the shop, though their bar and restaurant would keep you well supplied.

A lovely experience - the silo was excellent. We had buffet meals and they were good value but need plenty of time to enjoy. Laundry facilities very good. Overall a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly. Thank you.

Hierdie lodge is baie gerieflik vir enige persoon wat die omgewing wil verken. Dit lê reg langs die groot pad tussen Dundee en Vryheid. Die tuine is lieflik, die mense is vriendelik en alles wat jy nodig het is in die kamers. Hierdie plek sal my beslis weer in die toekoms sien...dankie julle.
