wish I didn't have to leave
This trip was really needed. I decided to go to Clarens the night before booked and was there the next morning. The accomadation was lovely and the setting beautiful. The staff and owners awesome. Thankyou for the plants and the bowl of cherries.
I will be returning.

Very homely and comfortable! Very friendly and helpful owners, we really enjoyed our stay. Excellent accommodation, clean, with everything one will need and more from a B&B. Location is also picturesque and walking distance from shops and restaurants. Another highlight is the very delicious and unique breakfast. Aspen Guesthouse is home-away-from-home and worth a stay.

The guesthouse was really beautiful and in the most amazing setting with the best views. Lots of space for kids to run around. Breakfast was average. If you have kids (like we do) I suggest you get the self catering unit because it is very disturbing to the other guests if they have to stay in the same house as the kids. All in all a lovely stay.

Besgeleë gastehuis
Hierdie gastehuis is voorwaar geleë op die mees asemrowende plek in Clarens met die mooiste uitsig en binne loopafstand van die dorp. Die gasvrou is uiters vriendelik en doen ongelooflik baie moeite om 'n mens tuis te laat voel. Die ontbyt was ook uit die boonste rakke! Sal beslis terugkeer.

Wonderful hospitality
When you arrive at Aspen Guest House Alae welcomes you into her guest house and home and she cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and unforgetable. The self-catering unit with two bedrooms was great as it had a bathroom and shower. The other self-catering unit only has a shower, and no TV. The location of the guest house is superb as it is close to town and borders on the Clarens Nature Reserve.
