Ideal Drakensberg retreat
As always we fell under the charm of The Antbear, of its beautiful views and stunning, handmade wooden furniture and fittings. Welcoming and informative staff and hosts. Delicious food, prepared with the freshest farm produce add to enjoyment.
It is easier to reach/find than one wold think, and the perfect location to tour the central Drakensberg or the Midlands Meander.

Decent guest house
Overall, Antbear is a nice guest house to enjoy a peaceful time away. Although Andrew and Connie were away for the weekend, the staff were accommodating and quite hospitable. I did think that the guest house was a bit overpriced given that it lacks the facilities and location of other resorts in the 'Berg' but carries the same price tag.
