McAllisters on 8th Avenue

Our stay at McAllisters was really great. Rooms are perfect, the swimming pool and the court are very nice, the breakfast is really good and healthy, the location in Durban is ideal. The only negative aspect was that the host was not so easy and the communication was sometimes quite strict. But anyway, it's'a really nice place to be accommodated in!

I did not enjoy my stay at Mcallissters on 8th since I did not stay at Mcallisters which was the place that I bought into, I was informed via email that the venue was changed from McAllisters on 8th to Mcallisters on Madeline. None of the features of this venue was explained to me especially the fact that they do not have a pool on the premise, the change in venue was sent after I had made payment in full and I had no choice but to accept. Furthermore I was informed that no breakfast would be served on the 1st, also this was told to me 2 days prior to me leaving and after I had paid, no indication was given as to whether my payment would be reduced, I was simply informed that they would not be serving breakfast. So no I would not recommend a venue to anyone that changes my accommodation after full payment was made and decides to reduce 4 breakfasts to 3.
